The Love Guru DVD Scores More Than Enough Laughs Than Stinkers to be called a winner
We just bought a copy of Love Guru DVD and I must admit that I've done is groovy. The idea behind the film is a Guru called Pitka is an American raised outside of the United States and returns to launch his personal self-help business. His first challenge is to solve the romantic problems of a star hockey player, who is also causing similar problems on the ice too.
The Love Guru DVD, stars foreverfunny Mike Myers, who also wrote the screenplay. Also starred the lovely Jessica Alba and equally macho Justin Timberlake and Ben Kingsley, of course. While 32 million at the box office has nothing to sniff for Myers, this represents a failure. As an actor, has enjoyed great success and has seen his picture just insert the box office but this film has so much Buzz negative from the outset, it is not difficult to understand why the disappointment capacityTicket.
Myers 'shtick' can not be for everyone, but I know that I laughed. From looking around, though, I saw my fellow movie fans enjoyed themselves and look like a real hockey game. But Mike Myers is so alive, good to have a great time to be an uncomfortable and almost impossible not to be conquered.
Yet, under the camouflage hiding the disembodied spirit of Austin Powers, whose passion for words and double meaningsfart jokes and this is politically incorrect. Which is exactly where and why The Love Guru fails. Most bars are concentrated around the genitals or the other or sexuality Austin Powers-style push-Wink artificial, it does not work at all with this character.
Although a bit 'uneven, the love guru scores more than enough laughs bastards, but parents should take the rating PG-13 for good. And 'vintage Myers, with an abnormal, widely playedborrowed from Peter Sellers, silly makeup, bad puns, allusions, the occasional pause for song and dance and Myers continuous attachment with the little people.
